The Document Foundation has published download statistics for LibreOffice 26.8. It reports that in the first week, LibreOffice 26.8 was downloaded 1.031 million times from the official download page on the project's website (this figure does not include users of distributions using LibreOffice from the standard repositories).
If we consider the competing project Apache OpenOffice, the release of Apache OpenOffice 4.1.16, published last year, was downloaded 601 thousand times in the first week and 1.805 million times in the first month, despite the project being in deep stagnation.
