The Document Foundation has released download statistics for LibreOffice 26.8. It is reported that in the first week, LibreOffice 26.8 was downloaded 1.031 million times through the official download page on the project's website (this statistic does not account for users of distributions who use LibreOffice from the default repositories).
In comparison, the competing project Apache OpenOffice saw its release Apache OpenOffice 4.1.16, published last year, downloaded 601 thousand times in the first week and 1.805 million times in the first month, despite the project being in deep stagnation.
