Wine 11.8, Wine-staging 11.8, and Proton-CachyOS 11 are available

An experimental release of the open implementation of the Win32 API — Wine 11.8 has been published. Since the release of 11.7, 22 bug reports have been closed and 239 changes made. The most significant changes include: The Wine Mono engine has been updated to version 11.1.0. Wine Mono is a distribution of the Mono Framework intended for use in Wine instead of the proprietary .NET Framework component. Keyboard layout support has been improved.

Lexilla 5.4.9, Scintilla 5.6.2, SciTE 5.6.2

On April 29, releases 5.4.9 and 5.6.2 of the cross-platform libraries for parsing, editing, and code highlighting Lexilla and Scintilla respectively, as well as the 5.6.2 release of the text editor SciTE based on them, took place. The projects are written in C++ (C++20 standard). Changes include: Lexilla Assembler: SCE_ASM_STRINGBACKQUOTE for support of text in back quotes used in NASM. C++: added support for code folding.
