Although Microsoft Edge does not dominate the browser market, the offspring of the Redmond corporation has some exclusive features that make it a worthy competitor. Consequently, Chrome developers are actively copying them. This refers to the ability to group tabs into one block, which helps 'unload' the tab bar in the browser and optimizes performance. At the same time, […]
The Document Foundation announced the cessation of the formation of 32-bit binary builds of LibreOffice for Linux. The change will take effect starting with version 6.3, which is expected on August 7. The reason cited is the low demand for such builds, which does not justify the resources spent on their compilation, testing, maintenance, and distribution. The majority of Linux users install LibreOffice from distributions, rather than […]

Other VPN services that received notifications about the need to connect to the registry refused to comply with the law prohibiting circumvention of restrictions. Recently, I noticed something. I used to not care, but now I know it — and I didn't like it. In all those corporate trainings, as well as starting from elementary school, we are told many things where, as a rule, there's not enough room for adventure, recklessness, and the triumph of the human spirit in its pure, sublimated form. […]

I discussed the essence of these methods and my experience applying them, as well as the reasons I like or dislike them. In this article, I want to talk about the modern concept of decision-making […]

There are no details about the vulnerability yet, but they should emerge after the lifting of the embargo (the period during which vendors receive information about the issue and decide what to do next). The code is written in C and is distributed under the GPLv2 license. Notable features of IceWM include full keyboard combination management, the ability to […]
It seems that Homer with his epics is something distant, archaic, difficult to read, and naïve. But that's not true. We are all permeated by Homer and the ancient Greek culture from which all of Europe emerged: our language is rich with words and quotes from ancient Greek literature. Just consider expressions like 'Homeric laughter,' 'the battle of the gods,' 'Achilles' heel,' 'the apple of discord,' and our native: […]
