Many Firefox users around the world lost their usual set of extensions due to their sudden disablement. This incident occurred at midnight UTC on May 4 — the issue is related to the expiration of the certificate used for generating digital signatures. In theory, the certificate was supposed to have been updated a week ago, but for some reason, that did not happen.
Microsoft continues to improve its Chromium-based Edge browser. The latest build in the Canary update channel (daily updates) has introduced a version with a built-in ‘Incognito’ mode.
