Perfect World Entertainment has announced that it will release the action RPG Torchlight II on current-generation consoles this fall, in partnership with Panic Button. Specific platforms have not been disclosed.
Torchlight II was released on PC in September 2012. It is an action RPG with a procedurally generated world where you battle hordes of enemies and search for treasures. Four classes and character gender are available to choose from. "Explore the vast open world of Wilderan, and don't forget to visit one of the many towns along your journey. Rain, snow, day or night — your heroes are always ready for battle! Random level generation keeps you engaged: every playthrough will be unique," the description states.
Additionally, Torchlight II features helpful pets that can sell loot for you in town. The game also includes a 'New Game +' mode for replaying the main campaign at a higher difficulty level while retaining your current gear, gold, and items.
