Co-founder and CEO of Paragon Software Group Konstantin Komarov published in the Linux-Fsdevel mailing list a patch implementing the NTFS file system driver, supporting all basic operations — reading, writing, handling sparse and packed files, extended attributes, and data and file system journal recovery.
The code is provided under the GPL license and meets all basic requirements for accepting patches into the kernel.
The unresolved issues so far are the audit of the published code and the nominations for its future maintainers.
