The developers from the KDE project have released the note-taking application KleverNotes 1.0, which is built using the Kirigami framework and can be used on both desktops and mobile devices. When writing notes, Markdown formatting is suggested, with the results immediately displayed in the preview area. Additionally, a to-do list mode (TODO) and the ability to insert simple drawings using lines are supported.
Notes can be organized hierarchically with categorization and grouping. The application's functionality is expanded through plugins, for example, plugins are available for linking different notes, syntax highlighting, quick emoji insertion, and creating diagrams using PlantUML markup. The text preview style in Markdown format can be customized by the user through themes using CSS.
