The open-source hardware project Pine64 has announced it is suspending production. Linux-devices due to a shortage of DRAM memory and eMMC storage. The possibility of resuming production will be assessed in the second half of next year and will depend on DRAM and eMMC prices. Inventories of currently produced PineNote and PineTab2 devices will run out in approximately three months. Production of microcontroller-based devices such as PineTime, PineVoice, and Pinecil will continue as usual.
