Today, KDE releases an update with bug fixes for KDE Plasma version 6.0.3.
This release includes fixes from KDE contributors over the past two weeks. In total, there were more than 149 fixes, here are some of them:
- The hover/unhover animation of the floating panel has been smoothed out when scaling factors are applied, both for scaling factors above 100% and overall.
- Entries on the Automount page of System Settings are now sorted alphabetically instead of in the order they were added.
- A bug that caused Gwenview to crash when trying to play video has been fixed.
- A problem in Okular that caused a crash when closing a note annotation while spell checking was enabled has been resolved.
- Font installation in Wayland now works instead of crashing System Settings.
- Plasma no longer crashes when playing certain music videos on Spotify..
- A problem that caused some XWayland windows to constantly resize when using certain fractional scaling factors in Qt 6.7 has been fixed.
- The boot sound that stopped playing during boot after various sound-related changes made in Plasma 6 has been corrected.
- A recent regression in multi-monitor settings that caused task manager widgets to display tasks on the wrong screen and notifications on X11 to appear in the center of one of the screens instead of the correct position has been fixed.
- Subpixel previews on the Fonts page in System Settings are now correctly displayed in Wayland.
- A Qt bug in System Monitor that caused a crash when trying to open the details sidebar on the Applications page has been fixed.
