Google continues to enhance the experience of Android users with mobile games. According to online sources, soon Android device owners will be able to launch games without waiting for them to fully load.

Despite the continually growing popularity of games for Android, quality applications in this category often take up considerable space. This means users have to wait a while before they can start interacting with the app. The implementation of the ability to launch applications before they are fully loaded will surely be well-received by users, as they will be able to assess the new game even when they don’t have time to wait for the download to complete.
The report states that the mentioned feature is being implemented through the introduction of an incremental file system, which is a 'dedicated virtual file system for Linux'. This approach will allow programs to be executed while their files are still loading. In simpler terms, users will only need to wait for the essential files to load, after which the application will become functional even before all files are fully downloaded.
For applications to function correctly, essential files need to be loaded first, which will be delivered to the user's device as a priority. According to available data, this function is currently in the testing phase. It may become available to a wider audience in Android 11, which will be released this year.
