Postgres Professional, a leading Russian DBMS developer, has released an updated course on the administration of the freely distributed DBMS PostgreSQL. The program now includes information on the latest versions 14, 15, and 16, as well as:
- Four topics in the 'Access Management' section have been unified into a single overview, with plans for a separate detailed course to be released later;
- The structure has been partially revised for a more logical and coherent presentation;
- Physical and logical replication are now covered in separate topics.
In addition, errors in the presentation and mistakes in the demonstration scripts and practical assignments have been corrected.
DBA-1 is a basic course for PostgreSQL administrators developed by Postgres Professional specialists. The material is available for self-study at the website of the company, as well as in authorized training centers.
