Sberbank has announced the implementation of several new features in its mobile application, which will help clients save time when visiting branches and searching for ATMs.
One of the innovations concerns the mobile phone number linked to the bank card: it can now be changed directly through the app — without visiting the bank.
Additionally, there is now the option to customize transaction notifications. This service allows Sberbank clients to receive alerts about actions taken on their cards directly to their phone.
To set up notifications in the Sberbank Online app, you need to go to your profile and select 'Card Notifications' in the 'Settings'. For each card, users can turn notifications on or off (change the plan) and change the phone number simultaneously for all linked cards. There's also an option to configure the delivery method for notifications — Push or SMS.
It's worth noting that the audience of the Sberbank Online application is about 45 million users. Through the program, clients make 250 million payments and transfers monthly. You can download the app from here.
