The free version for iOS was launched last month, and now developers have announced that it will soon be available to everyone. It’s worth noting that the app version for Android mobile devices was released last year.
Unlike the regular messenger, WhatsApp Business allows for necessary profile customizations, simplifying the process of sharing information about various companies. Business representatives usually use the app to convey their contact details, store addresses, and more. The program also enables interactions with customers who send messages via standard WhatsApp or its web version.
Previously, the developer launched the WhatsApp Business API, which is designed for large corporate clients and is a paid service. It allows companies to create notifications, send receipts, and respond to customer inquiries.
Currently, the WhatsApp Business mobile app for iOS is available in the USA, UK, Germany, Brazil, Indonesia, and Mexico. In the coming weeks, users from other countries will be able to download the program.
