Bloober Team Studio revealed how long it will take to complete the upcoming horror game Blair Witch.
Blair Witch was at E3 2019. This horror game is based on the film franchise 'The Blair Witch Project'. The game tells the story of searching for a young boy who went missing in the Black Hills forest. A former police officer sets out to find him but encounters supernatural forces instead of a typical investigation. The game is being developed by the creators of Observer and the Layers of Fear series.
Lead quality assurance specialist at Bloober Team, Maciej Glomb, told GameWatcher that completing Blair Witch will take between 5 to 6 hours. No wonder the game is priced at half the cost of major projects — $29.99. 'The Bloober Team was quite optimistic about this approach to horror since it seems the story is crafted to encourage gamers to [play through the game] more than once... Additionally, Blair Witch will feature multiple endings to encourage replayability. We are confident that we will deliver a true mind-bending experience with Blair Witch,' the GameWatcher portal wrote.
It's likely that getting the best ending in one playthrough will not be possible — first, you will need to get accustomed to the game world, where a supernatural force is constantly hunting the protagonist.
Blair Witch will be available for purchase on August 30 for PC and Xbox One.
