The release of the next version has taken place QMapShack — a program for working with various online mapping services (WMS), GPS tracks (GPX/KML), and raster and vector map files. The program is a further development of the project QLandkarte GT and is used for planning and analyzing travel and hiking routes.
The prepared route can be exported in different formats and used on various devices and in different navigation programs during hikes.
Main features:
- Simple and flexible use of vector, raster, and online maps;
- Use of elevation data (offline and online);
- Creation/planning of routes and tracks with various routers;
- Analysis of recorded data (tracks) from various navigation and fitness devices;
- Editing planned/completed routes and tracks;
- Storing photos linked to route points;
- Structured data storage in databases or files;
- Direct connection for reading and writing to modern navigation and fitness devices.
