In anticipation of the May release, Xbox Game Studios and the developers from the British studio Playground Games have introduced have announced the full system requirements for the open-world racing arcade game Forza Horizon 6.
Forza Horizon 6 has been designed with the capabilities of the latest graphics hardware in mind, but it is optimized for both high-end systems and gaming laptops and portable PCs (Steam Deck, Xbox ROG Ally).
To run Forza Horizon 6 on a PC with low graphics settings at 1080p and 60 frames per second, you'll need an Intel Core i5-8400 processor, a GTX 1650 level graphics card, 16 GB of RAM, and a solid-state drive (SSD).
The system requirements for Forza Horizon 6 are listed below:
Minimum requirements (1080p, 60 frames per second, low graphics settings)
- OS: Windows 10/11 (at least 22H2);
- Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600;

- Processor: Intel Core i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7700X;
- Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT;
- RAM: 24 GB;
- DirectX: 12;
- Storage: NVMe SSD.
Extreme requirements with ray tracing (upscaled to 4K, 60+ frames per second, 'extreme' graphics settings and ray tracing)
- OS: Windows 10/11 (at least 22H2);
- Processor: Intel Core i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7700X;
- Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT;
- RAM: 32 GB;
- DirectX: 12;
- Storage: NVMe SSD.
The PC version will offer support for ray tracing (reflections, global illumination), ultrawide monitors, and unlimited frame rates, as well as a wide range of graphic settings with previews of changes.
Additionally, Forza Horizon 6 on PC features intelligent scaling with Nvidia DLSS 4, AMD FSR 4, and Intel XeSS 2.1, along with corresponding frame generation technologies.
Forza Horizon 6 will be released on May 19 for PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X, S, and in Game Pass, and it will reach PS5 in 2026. It promises a vast open world set in Japan, over 550 cars at launch, seasonal changes, and a Russian translation.
