The capabilities of SDN networks have been expanded: the ability to build Fabrics networks using OpenFabric and OSPF routing protocols has been added. The implementation of this technology allows for the construction of dynamic, fault-tolerant networks.
The HA Affinity Rules mechanism has been added, allowing you to set placement rules for virtual machines: binding to nodes (Node affinity) or to a virtual machine/container (Resource affinity). This new method of resource placement management in the cluster replaces the previous HA groups.
Support for state snapshots in the form of volume chains on thick LVM without the use of thin provisioning has been implemented. Now, each snapshot after the first stores only changes from the previous state, rather than a complete copy.
Support for working with containers from public registries according to the OCI standard has been added. Now LXC containers can be deployed directly from imported OCI images.
The ability to obtain IP addresses for containers without their own network stack has been added. DHCP requests are handled by the host, eliminating the need to run a DHCP client inside the container or manually configure static addresses.
The built-in mobile web interface has been completely rewritten in Rust. It provides fast access from mobile devices and performs core administrative tasks: managing the state of guest systems, viewing tasks, and checking storage status.
