KaOS is a Linux distribution that features the latest version of the KDE desktop environment, the Calligra office suite, and other applications that use the Qt toolkit. It employs the Pacman package manager and follows a rolling-release update model. The distribution is designed exclusively for 64-bit systems.
The new version removes Python 2 packages and transitions to KDE Plasma 5.17. Other changes include updates to GCC 9.2.0 / Glibc 2.30. Glib2 and Boost have been updated, and systemd has been upgraded to version 243.
