The release of Manjaro Linux 24.1 has taken place, built on the basis of Arch Linux and aimed at beginner users. The distribution is notable for its simplified and user-friendly installation process, support for automatic hardware detection, and the installation of necessary drivers. Manjaro is available in live builds with graphical environments KDE (4.1 GB), GNOME (4 GB), and Xfce (3.8 GB), formulated for the x86_64 architecture and various ARM-based processor platforms. Community-driven builds with Budgie, Cinnamon, Deepin, LXQt, and i3 are also developed.
Manjaro uses its own toolset, BoxIt, designed in the image of Git, for managing repositories. The repository operates on a rolling release principle, but new versions undergo an additional stabilization phase.
