Release of the cross-platform UI framework MauiKit 1.1.0

The Maui project is free and open-source software supported by the KDE community and developed by Nitrux Latinoamericana.

MauiKit is a set of controls and tools based on QQC2 and Kirigami, shared across the Maui application suite. MauiKit facilitates the rapid development of user interfaces that adhere to the Maui HIG. It is based on Qt, QML, and C++. It includes ready-to-use components that work on Android, Linux, Windows, Mac OS, and iOS.

Version 1.1.0 contains updates, new features, and bug fixes. For this first complete release, the packages are distributed directly from the official webpage MauiKit. This is the first official stable release.

Currently, the Maui project provides nine applications that utilize this framework and cover a basic set of standard utilities:

• file manager Index,

• music player VVave,

• image viewer Pix,

• text editor Nota,

• notes Buho,

• terminal emulator Station,

• contacts manager Contacts,

• document viewer Library

These applications are used in the Linux distribution Nitrux.
