A new release of the open-source cross-platform image viewer is now available , written in C++ using the Qt framework. The program's code is licensed under GPLv3. The application is available for installation from the repositories of Arch, Debian, Gentoo, SUSE, and Void Linux, as well as in the form of binary builds for Windows.
The new version speeds up the program's launch by more than 10 times (in tests, launch time was reduced from 300 ms to 25 ms) due to the use of deferred initialization of interface elements. Missing icons for high-density screens have been added.
