The release of StartWine-Launcher 411 has been published, developed for running applications and games built for the Windows platform on Linux systems. The primary goal of developing StartWine-Launcher was to simplify the process for beginners to create Wine prefixes, which are sets of libraries and Windows dependencies required for Windows applications to run on Linux. The code for StartWine-Launcher is written in Python and is distributed under the GPLv3 license. The interface is implemented using the GTK library.
In the new version:

- Prefix configurations have been updated.
- The list of Wine, dxvk, and vkd3d versions has been updated.
- Libraries in utils have been updated.
- The DLSS option has been fixed.
- Helper functions in sw_runlib have been fixed.
- Automatic installation of Steam, Epic Games, Battle.net, HoYoPlay, Lesta Games, PopcoTime, Rockstar Games, Ubisoft, EVE Online, and Wargaming.net has been corrected.
- Messages about OpenGL and Vulkan modes have been removed.
- Output colors in the terminal have been added.
- The Wine explorer now opens in the drive_c directory of the current prefix.
