The release of Startwine-Launcher 421 has been published, developed for launching programs and games built for the Windows platform in Linux systems. The main goal of the StartWine-Launcher development was to simplify the process of creating Wine prefixes for newcomers — sets of libraries and Windows dependencies necessary for running Windows applications on Linux. The code for StartWine-Launcher is written in Python and is distributed under the GPLv3 license. The interface is implemented based on the GTK library.
