Version 5.4 of the website content management system is now available WordPress, named "Adderley" in honor of the jazz musician Nat Adderley. The main changes involve the block editor: there is an expanded selection of blocks and their customization options. Other changes include:
- improved performance;
- a streamlined control panel interface;
- added privacy settings;
- significant changes for developers:
- menu parameter modifications, which previously required modifications, are now available "out of the box");
- block style settings, TikTok support, additional APIs.
For CMS operation, PHP 7.3+, MySQL 5.6, or MariaDB 10.1+ is recommended.
