The release of version 4.7.4 of the cross-platform RSS client RSS Guard has taken place, written in C++ using the Qt framework (5 or 6) and distributed under the GPL 3.0 license.
Change log:
- The priority of worker threads for fetching feeds has now been lowered to low. This is likely to improve interface responsiveness during feed retrieval;
- User-agent can now be set in the settings;
- The appearance of JavaScript notifications has been improved;
- Some debug code has been removed;
- The Browse buttons in the Node.js settings section now work correctly;
- The ability to apply filters to articles more than once has been fixed;
- A crash in the built-in file uploader has been fixed;
- Errors in internal SQL queries have been corrected;
- Custom pop-up notifications are now disabled on Linux/Wayland, as Wayland does not support them (standard notifications can be used instead through the DE);
- A problem with restoring from the tray while working on dual monitors after turning one off has been fixed;

- The number of supported date and time formats has been increased;
- Localizations have been updated.
