According to RBC, Sber is developing its own ERP system that will serve as an alternative to products from German SAP, which has exited the Russian market. Sber has not disclosed the amount of investment in the project, but market participants indicate that it could involve billions of rubles. In 2022, SAP announced its withdrawal from Russia. On March 20, 2024, the company closed access to its cloud services for Russian users. According to IBS estimates, around 28% of Russian organizations in the large business sector have abandoned SAP ERP systems in favor of alternative import-independent solutions. The most popular domestic products in this area are 1C and Galaktika solutions. Meanwhile, the successor to the Russian division of SAP intends to release its own ERP system.
