The release of the non-linear video editor Shotcut 24.01, built on MLT and Qt6, has occurred.
Among the new features, the following changes can be noted:
Player functions have been added. Loop and Set Loop Range. While working on a project, these functions allow for the cyclic playback of a selected fragment.
A feature has been added to the timeline. Group/Ungroup. It allows you to group selected project elements into a single group for further manipulation.
Function Splitting By Playback Points now works for all selected (or grouped) fragments.
Function Splitting By Playback Points can now be used for all tracks at once.
Features Undo and Redo now applies to adding, deleting, and modifying filters.
