Side is a GNU/Linux distribution based on Pisi Linux, featuring a desktop environment. SDE.
In version 0.0.2:
- glibc-2.39;
- Linux kernel LTS 5.15;
- ability to run Xorg without root permissions;
- network settings fixes;
- new packages: keyd, ayatana-libappindicator, and others.
The project is in the alpha stage of development, stable operation is not guaranteed, the repository is sparse, distrospecific components lack documentation.
Password: live. Installation only works for LegacyBIOS/MBR. Upgrade from version 0.0.1 is not supported.
