For regular non-LTS kernel releases, updates are only released until the next stable branch is released (for example, updates for branch 5.6 were issued until 5.7 was released).
Separately, based on kernels 4.4 and 4.19, the Linux Foundation branch (Super Long Term Support), which are maintained separately and will be supported for 10-20 years. Support for SLTS branches is carried out within the framework of the Civil Infrastructure Platform (CIP) project, which involves companies such as Toshiba, Siemens, Renesas, Hitachi, and MOXA, as well as maintainers of the main kernel's LTS branches, Debian developers, and creators of the KernelCI project. SLTS kernels are aimed at application in civil infrastructure technical systems and in critical industrial systems.
