Vivaldi Technologies today announced the release of the final version of the Vivaldi 3.5 web browser for personal computers. The browser is developed by former developers of the Opera Presto browser, who aim to create a customizable and functional browser that respects user data privacy.
The new version includes the following changes:
- A new grouped tabs list view;
- Customizable context menus for the Speed Dial;
- Keyboard shortcuts added to context menus;
- An option to open links in a background tab by default;
- Cloning tabs in the background;
- Selective disabling of built-in Google services;
- QR code generator in the address bar;
- Option for a permanent close tab button display;
- Increased amount of data stored in the bin;
- Updated to Chromium version 87.0.4280.88.
The Vivaldi 3.5 browser is available for Windows, Linux, and MacOSX. Key features include a tracker and ad blocker, note, history, and bookmark managers, private browsing mode, synchronization secured with end-to-end encryption, and many other popular features.
