The organizing committee of the Second Independent Award for Russian-speaking freelancers has announced the start of accepting applications for the award. .
The term 'freelancer' encompasses self-employed specialists from various professions: designers and illustrators, web developers and application developers, copywriters and translators, content managers and optimizers, direct marketers and SMM specialists, photographers and motion designers, among others. Freelancers are characterized by their independence, responsibility, and high level of education. They are self-confident and rely solely on themselves, considering themselves 'independent artists' and free fighters.
The organizers of the competition reported that over the past year, the Award has not only matured, but also received trademark registration for 'Golden Lance' and changed its website name to Goldenlance.ru. Additionally, the feedback regarding new specializations has been taken into account.
'This year we have worked significantly on the list of nominations to make them simpler and clearer for participants. Moreover, we decided to separate purely freelancer nominations from nominations for virtual studios, and we have also added a category for the best outside of the Russian Federation,' says the author of the idea, chairman of the organizing committee and director of the freelancer portal Kirill Anoshin. 'We would be very happy if more participants take part in the award this year. The award ceremony will take place in mid-October 2019 in Moscow.'
It has been reported that any freelancer can participate in the discussion of the list of nominations and other aspects related to the competition on the event's social media page, or send their suggestions via email. Companies wishing to become sponsors and partners of the competition are also welcome.
