On March 29 and April 20, the versions 0.20.0 and 0.20.1 of the popular open-source planetarium Stellarium were released, visualizing the realistic night sky as it would appear to the naked eye, or through binoculars or a telescope.
In total, there were 119 changes between versions 0.19.3 and 0.20.0, and 43 changes between versions 0.20.0 and 0.20.1.
Among the main changes in version 0.20.0 are:
- Refactoring and updating the graphical interface of the planetarium
- Deep refactoring of the code related to Solar System objects
- Numerous improvements in the planetarium plugins
