Game Freak has introduced Pokémon that can become gigantic in the upcoming role-playing game Pokémon Sword and Shield.
Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are role-playing games in the main series of Pokémon, designed for an experienced audience. Recently, it was revealed that Pokémon such as Pikachu, Eevee, Charizard, Butterfree, and Meowth will be able to achieve Gigantamax forms—growing to enormous sizes and gaining unique G-Max moves. Each move corresponds to the overall battle style of the pocket monster.
For players of the spin-offs Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee, the developers have prepared a gift as well. If the Nintendo Switch detects save data from one of the versions, the user will receive a Pikachu or Eevee, respectively, which can take on a Gigantamax form.
Pokémon Sword and Shield will go on sale on November 15, 2019, exclusively for Nintendo Switch. The versions differ in starting and legendary Pokémon, as well as in at least one gym leader.
