Tor 0.4.3.5 is the first stable release in the 0.4.3.x series. This series includes:
- The ability to build without support for relay mode.
- Support for OnionBalance for V3 onion services,
- Significant improvements to the tor controller's functionality.
According to the current support policy, each stable series is supported for nine months, or for three months after the release of the next one (whichever is longer). Thus, the new series will be supported at least until February 2021.
Errors fixed in this release:
- Fixed Clang 10 warnings about fallthrough in GCC style (like "/* falls through */").
- Fixed IPv6 address truncation in the tor event log.
- Fixed missing messages for invalid onion addresses. Previously, the result of the address check was never output.
