In our review Alexey Likhachev rated the game just 6 out of 10, describing World War Z as fun and engaging, but at times dull and monotonous, likely not to stay on buyers' hard drives for long. He listed the lack of a storyline and new interesting ideas, uniformity, and pointless competitive modes as disadvantages.
