On October 23, 2024, on the fifteenth birthday, another version of the open real-time operating system Embox was released. The OS is written in C, features flexible configurability at the source level, and is distributed under a two-clause BSD license.
Changes include:
- Improved support for multi-core processors.
- Enhanced support for the RISC-V architecture.
- Added support for the Russian microcontroller MIK32 (AMUR).
- Improved OpenSSL support.
- Enhanced Logger and runtime for the internal framework.
- Improved InputDevices and several other drivers.
- Enhanced support for C++, including OpenCV and Qt.
- Improved capabilities of the assembly language Mybuild.
- Improved support for the C standard library.
