The Google Chrome browser is about to undergo a major design change. Chrome Canary 75 reportedly received two major design updates. We are talking about support for a dark theme on the home page and the ability to set wallpapers on it.

At the moment, in the current builds of the Chrome 73 browser, there is only an instruction for new users on the start page. With the help of extensions, you can add Speed Dial and other features, but that's all for now. The appearance of new features on the start page should take place in the release version number 75.
It hasn't yet been specified what other new features will be available in this build. It was previously reported that Google will add a tracking protection system to this version. Chrome for desktop OS will include a system that will warn the user if a website attempts to connect to the tablet's sensors. A whitelisting feature for certain websites is also promised. A similar version under Android will be able to completely block all websites, without the ability to create a list of allowed resources.
Chrome 74 promises the ability to change the design depending on the operating system theme. For now, we're talking about Windows 10, which is expected to receive full dark and light themes after the April update. The browser will also automatically support the theme switch. The beta version of the program is already available, and the final version will be released on April 23.
Note that more and more browsers and other programs are experimenting with adaptive themes and dark mode. And this is observed both on computers and on smartphones.
