In Firefox, the ability to export saved passwords in CSV format will be available.

The code base for the upcoming release of Firefox 78 includes has added the ability to export saved login credentials from the password manager in CSV format (text fields with delimiters that can be imported into a spreadsheet application). Additionally, there are plans to implement a function for importing passwords from a previously saved CSV file (it is assumed that the user may need to back up and restore saved passwords or transfer passwords from another browser).

When exporting, the passwords are placed in the file in plain text. It is worth noting that when a master password is set, passwords in the built-in Firefox password manager are stored encrypted. Interestingly, the proposal to add the password export feature to Firefox was made 16 years ago, but has remained unaccepted all this time. In Google Chrome, password export to CSV is supported has been available since the release of Chrome 67, which was released in 2018.
