An alert is displayed on the archived projects page indicating that the maintainer will no longer publish new releases. For users, this label may signal that they should avoid using the selected package, as vulnerabilities will not be fixed and errors will not be addressed.
Archived project packages remain available for download and installation. If desired, the project owner can remove the archived status and resume publishing new versions. Furthermore, support for additional statuses, such as 'deprecated' and 'unmaintained', is planned to be added.
