The company notes that they are aware of the issue but will not address it due to the end of support. Therefore, users must either use other personalization options or pre-select wallpapers that fit the exact screen size. Stretching them further is no longer an option.
One can only hope that the issue will be resolved within the Windows 7 Extended Security Updates (ESU), as updates will be released there until 2023.
