In the nightly builds of Firefox that will form the upcoming release Firefox 98, scheduled for March 8, support for the Wayland protocol is activated by default for user environments that support it. Remaining unresolved issues include crashes when moving tabs with the mouse, submenu alignment issues, problems with setting the WM_CLASS environment variable, the bookmarks menu and context menu shifting off-screen, crashes during wl_array_copy operations, or when dealing with excessively long drop-down menus.
