This new release is notable for implementing a file system recovery capability in the fsck.exfat utility for exFAT (previously, the functionality was limited to detecting issues) and for supporting bypassing files in directories with damaged structures. New options have also been added to fsck.exfat: 'b' for recovering the boot sector and 's' for creating lost files in the '/LOST+FOUND' directory.
