Another update has been released for the Telegram messenger for mobile devices running on Android and iOS: the update includes a considerable number of additions and improvements.
First of all, it is important to highlight the silent messages. Such messages will not make any sounds upon delivery. This feature will be useful when you need to send a message to someone who is, say, in a meeting or a lecture.
To send a silent message, simply hold down the send button. The recipient will see a notification, but the sound for the message delivery will not play. This feature also works in groups.
The so-called 'Slow Mode' has been implemented. It allows group administrators to choose how often participants can send messages.
Group administrators can now specify titles — for example, 'founder' or 'moderator'.
Additionally, new animated emojis have been introduced. They are available when sending a separate message, such as 'heart' or the gesture 'thumbs up'.
In chat settings, you can disable the looping playback of animated stickers.
