Collabora has announced the implementation of support for ARM Mali GPUs based on the V10 microarchitecture in the PanVK driver, which supports the Vulkan graphics API. The changes, which have already been accepted into the main branch of the Mesa project, enable the use of open drivers on systems with ARM Mali-G610 and Mali-G310 GPUs. However, it is noted that the support is still quite immature, as the PanVK driver itself and the added ARM V10 code are not recognized as ready for widespread use (some applications may not launch), and are also limited to Vulkan version 1.0 support.
