Microsoft releases 3 preview extensions for its code editor VSCode.
- Remote WSL — Open any folder in the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL),
- Remote Containers — allows you to use a Docker container,
- Remote SSH — Open any folder on a remote computer using SSH.
All three of these extensions allow you to work with files on other computers or containers as if they were local.
That is, use all the features offered by VS Code, such as debugging, code completion, syntax highlighting, etc., while editing code.
