- Rename Tabs
Now you can easily rename your tabs and tab groups for better organization. Whether it's a project name, a reminder, or anything else that helps you stay organized.
- Dragging files from the downloads sidebar
In the new version of the browser, you can drag files directly from the downloads panel to your desktop, a folder, or even an email or document. No need to rummage through the downloads folder anymore; just grab what you need and drag it where it needs to go. You can select multiple files in the downloads panel for simultaneous moving.
- Structured view of synchronized tabs
With Vivaldi 6.9, you get a new structured overview of all open tabs on your devices right from the Windows panel. When you open the Windows panel, you can clearly see which tabs are open on your other devices, neatly organized in a tree structure. The new structure separates devices, workspaces, and tab groups, making it easier than ever to pick up where you left off when switching from a desktop to a laptop or from a tablet to a phone.
Other improvements:
- Support for uBlock rules 'importnant', 'all', and 'redirect-rule' has been added.
- Mail: send a quick reply with Ctrl+Enter.
- A button has been added to switch between mobile and desktop versions of the page in web panels.
- A command to move the active tab to another space has been added.
