VK has finally launched its dating app . The social network user registration back in July. Registration can be done via phone number or using a VK account. After authorization, the app automatically selects potential matches for the user.

The main ways to communicate in Lovina are video stories and video calls, as well as the 'carousel of video calls,' which allows users to chat with random matches that change every 22 seconds.
Users can also chat if at least one of them has liked the other's profile. However, the chat disappears after 48 hours if there's no video call or video story.
'You can't always understand how compatible you are with someone just through photos and messaging. Only live communication reveals whether there is a spark between you,' notes Vladimir Makhov, head of Lovina.
The app does not display ads, but it offers paid services. Users can buy 'love potions' (starting at 215 rubles per month) to view the list of people who liked their profile. 'Coins' (starting at 35 rubles) allow users to send 'super likes' — these can help highlight their profile among others that the match is viewing.
The app is available on the App Store and Google Play.
The main competitors of the app in the Russian online dating market are Badoo, Mamba, Hornet, and Tinder. The Tinder audience has reached nearly 600,000 users. In July known that Megafon plans to launch a dating service in collaboration with Tinder. The service developers promise to provide Megafon subscribers with unlimited access to the app even with a negative balance.
