The Opera 58 browser for Android is now available, bringing users several new features aimed at enhancing performance and usability. The company stated that the update contains fewer new functions than usual, but all the new features are expected to significantly improve the browsing experience.
Today's update greatly enhances the visual aspect of the Speed Dial feature and simplifies the editing and removal of pinned items. Additionally, Opera's specialists have completely redesigned the forms to fully comply with Google's recommendations for Android app interfaces, aimed at increasing convenience and ease of use. The forms allow users to enter their data once, and then whenever they are needed for purchases or logging in, Opera will automatically suggest using the previously entered information.
Most importantly, today's update provides better handling of notifications. After several unsuccessful attempts, Opera has decided to disable all notifications for the browser by default. Now, when users first visit a website, Opera 58 will show a small popup informing them that all notifications are disabled. From this window, users can quickly enable notifications for the site if needed.
