The release of 4MLinux 41.0 has been introduced, a minimalist user distribution that is not a fork of other projects and uses a graphical environment based on JWM. 4MLinux can be used not only as a Live environment for playing multimedia files and solving user tasks, but also as a recovery system and a platform for running LAMP servers (Linux, Apache, MariaDB, and PHP). Two ISO images (1.2 GB, x86_64) with a graphical environment and a selection of programs for server systems are prepared for download.

- Included are the FTP client FileZilla, drawing programs XPaint and GNU Paint, NVMe drive tools nvme, and a set of simple games based on the SDL library.
- For separate download in the form of loadable extensions, offered are the HTML editor BlueGriffon, the platform game The Legend of Edgar, the Quake port ioquake3, and the tank shooter game BZFlag.
- The default video player has been changed to SMPlayer, and the music player to Audacious.
- Support for installation on partitions with BTRFS file systems has been implemented.
