The release of the Alt Virtualization 11.0 distribution has taken place, built on the 11 ALT platform (p11). The distribution is intended for use on servers and for implementing virtualization functions in corporate infrastructure. Builds are prepared for x86_64 and AArch64 platforms. The product is provided under a License Agreement that allows free use by individuals, but legal entities are only allowed to test it, and for usage, a commercial license must be purchased or a written license agreement must be concluded.
Starting with the eleventh version, the distribution is released in two editions — virtualization-pve and virtualization-one, based on the Proxmox Virtual Environment (PVE) and OpenNebula platforms. Currently, only the PVE edition is available for download, based on the developments of the Proxmox VE 8.4 distribution and intended for managing virtual machines and containers using the hypervisor. KVM and the LXC toolkit (Kubernetes, Docker, CRI-O, and Podman containerization tools have been moved to the 'Alt Server' distribution).
